Community Van

A resident very generously donated a Community Transport vehicle to Weston on the Green Parish Council. The vehicle has been modified with a wheelchair ramp and includes 5 passenger seats. The vehicle is registered, taxed and insured, with a number of volunteer drivers ready and waiting to provide transport to hospital or doctors surgeries as required.

This is not a service to compete with our regular 24 bus service but can be used by residents needing to get to hospital or doctor appointments. For those with mobility issues that prevent them from using the bus, then our Community Transport can also be used for trips to Oxford or Bicester as necessary.

ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED!

Weston on the Green Community Transport is in need of additional volunteer drivers. If you are over 30 years of age with a clean driving licence, no accidents in the last 5 years and have spare time during the day, please consider helping to maintain this invaluable community asset.
