Thames Valley Police are warning of a fraudulent email claiming to be from the DVLA regarding tax payments and advise not to click links or share personal details.

We have been made aware of a fraudulent email circulating, claiming to be from the DVLA regarding tax payments. These emails may ask for personal details or prompt you to make payments for vehicle tax. Please be aware that these emails are not genuine.
If you receive any such email, do not click on any links or provide any personal information. The DVLA will never ask you to make payments or provide sensitive information via email.
If you are unsure whether an email is genuine, please do not respond. Instead, contact the official DVLA website directly at www.gov.uk/dvla to verify any claims.
