Road Closure: Bicester / Blackthorn, A41 9-12 January 2026 (20.00-06.00)
The A41 between Bicester and Blackthorn will be closed overnight from 9 to 12 January 2026 between 20:00 and 06:00 for pre-surfacing dressing works.

Temporary Road Closure and “No Waiting” restriction at Bicester / Blackthorn, A41
In the interests of public safety, it will be necessary for Oxfordshire County Council to close the road and impose a ‘No Waiting’ restriction as detailed above to facilitate pre-surfacing dressing works.
A temporary Notice is being made to implement the temporary closure and will operate on 09 January 2026 up to including 12 January 2026. This will operate between 20:00 and 06:00.
Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for those frontages within the closure area, subject to the progress of the works and liaison with the works supervisor.
