Cherwell District Council are seeking staff to work on the elections – in polling stations and at the verification and count.The next scheduled elections are the County Council Elections being held on Thursday 1 May 2025.

Typical roles during an election are:

• Presiding officers
• Poll clerks
• Postal vote openers
• Verification and counting assistants

All roles are paid and training is provided.
